BMW is set to unveil a new version of their R18 on May 24 at the Concorso d'Eleganza. Muscle bike? R18 NineT?

I was able to check an R12 today. It would not be possible to swap handlebars with the R18. Thread closed. The R12 is rather quite nice by the way. Still no match for the R18 though.

I haven't seen the R12 in the flesh yet but pictures show that the R12 handlebar would make a nice narrow comfortable ride on the R18. Thoughts?

Your pic shows the bike is in France. I think most people are talking about the US. The R18 hasn't sold well in the US.

Given the tax system in Singapore, I can't imagine how much and R18 would cost over there...

Not that I know. We have Mexican plated cars here in Houston. I've never seen or heard any problem with it. I know the border is in the news but inland is different. People cross the border both ways all the time. Plus I don't think most people will be able to tell where your bike is from...
