I understand, and you have my sympathy 😔😁. Not a fan of many things on that site but sometimes they're the only ones that have what you need. Nothing wrong with some humble enhancements! I'll be looking into this.
Excellent discussion, nice to see. Reminds me of a time... but I digress.
The oil cooler aesthetic on my TC hasn't bothered me too much but I do agree with Anibal: pic #4 is a great looking improvement and pic #10 looks very interesting. Regarding the 'full enclosure' of #4, I wonder if...
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the spelling error; appreciate the correction. "Twatwaffle" dates, in my limited experience, from the old days of AdvRider.
And no, I'm sincere here, not being sarcastic!
I really would not object to anyone posting their OBJECTIVE observations and opinions, pros or cons. That's a key means for how we help each other make decisions. You're not doing that.
I have no problem skipping posts I don't appreciate; do it regularly. You think you hit a nerve? No, when I...
😴😴😴 Not again, or still. We know, ad nauseam, that you don't like your TC. Now move along, get rid of the bike to someone who will enjoy,, burn it, run it off a cliff, IDC, because I've had enough and I'm sick of your sniveling. Have that BBQ, and let your hate die. Somewhere else.
Crap...
Had this happen, once only, after washing the bike. The brake light worked fine amd the fault eent away after bit, seemed like less than an hour. I assume that I got a connection wet and so the electrical system perceived it as a fault.
An open letter to CaptJim,

You are all invited!"
TLDR version:
I will not be in attendance as I will also be quite glad to see you leave this forum.
Long version:
I do feel it is too bad that you...
I take my proxy key & reach up under the rear fender to get the bike to recognize it. This has worked very well for me. Never cojld find the sweet spot on the rider's seat for the proxy key.
Welcome to the fold. It's a much, much different ride than a sport bike, and much different from my GS.
Last year, on a round-trip ride from Pennsylvania to Maine, I had people do double-takes; tell me it's beautiful bike; say they had never seen a Beemer that big; and I heard, from across the...
Thanks, neislm, this is the direction I'm leaning toward as well.
I would really appreciate better mileage longevity than what the Battlecruise tires provide but will not sacrifice good (e.i. safe) handling to achieve it.
It's always a compromise of the tire wear versus tire handling...
And so it goes... shopping for tires for my '22 TC. Looking for succinct experience on your tire preference for the Transcontinental. I've scoured the forum & the interweb & came up with 4 options. I'm open to comments from those experienced with the TC.
