I get about 47mpg without city traffic riding. When it's filled up, my range is around 140 miles until fuel light comes on. I'm enjoying the rev between 2000rpm to 3000rpm.

Based on your needs, I think you made an excellent choise. RT is like a work-horse (better looking horse than a GS though..^^) and will perform as your business partner and weekend blast at the same time.

I purchased mine in Georgia, USA. It's standard R18 manufactured in 2021. I hear that high pitched whine all the time from the idling to maybe 60mph. I talked to my dealer and am waiting for a response. If this is a common trouble then BMW should recall for the whining fuel pump.
