My R18 Classic arriving Tuesday is the 5th in my fleet too. It’s definitely the biggest and my first cruiser, but it will fit. Any of the current 4 I can get out easily and ride back in. With the R18 added, I might need to move it to get to one bike. Simple enough, my old Airhead typically gets <1000 miles a year, so I can put that behind the R18.

Hey Mofrid, welcome.

The determination of a suitable motorcycle collection is the subject of considerable debate. Various algorithms and schematics have been employed but, to date, the best equation is as follows:

Start by adding the fuel capacity of a Harley Davidson Fatboy 114 in gallons to the number of turns at Imola. Next multiple by the number of wheels on a motorcycle, and then subtract Valentino Rossi's number. Got it. Ok, now determine the year Daimler Reitwagen invented the first internal combustion motorcycle, add those numbers together and then add that to your total. Next divide by the number of letters in BMW (can also use BSA, but that's a different forum). And last, subtract two if you're married, add one if single, and add two if divorced.

There's your number.

So 5 (fat boy fuel capacity) + 19 (turns at Imola) is 24. 24 X 2 (number of wheels on motorcycle) is 48. Subtract 46 (Rossi’s number) leaving 2. The for 1885 (first internal combustion engine), is it 1+8+8+5 or 18+85 or something else? I always thought the N+1 formula was easier. Just take the number of bikes you currently have and add one as the ideal number of bikes.

Well done! I worded the 1885 part poorly. It'd be 1+8+8+5=22. So 2 from the previous stuff +22=24 then dividing by 3 gives you 8.

8-2 if married....etc

:ROFLMAO:
