What did you use to do the trimming to make the deflectors fit? It looks great, and if they really help with the buffering, it will be money well spent.
I am looking forward to seeing your new seat. The one that came on the B bike is not that great for the rider, but unbearable for the passenger. So, I might need to get another one for the next riding season.
If you don't mind asking, why did you send it? I thought the seat on the R18T was good. In fact, I was thinking to purchase one to have the heated seat for the passenger. Any advice on the matter?
Yes, they will, as Jim mentioned. I ordered myself one for my new r18B ( I had to change it as i originally ordered it for my classic). The only issue is that they take a few weeks for delivery so it might not be ready before the end of the riding season.
Has your riding improved in regard to turbulence? I might have to do the same thing. I wish I could just mount them on top of the turning lights even if I loose the possibility to open them...
Hi Scott,
Is that mean that you one cannot mount the winglets to the fairing at all? Not even on closed position? I understand that the turning lights will interfere with the winglets but I was hoping to be only on the open position.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Lloyd,
I just got the R18B (traded my classic). The seat on the B is not great. I have the dayrider seat (i bough for the classic) Is it possible to install it on the R18B? Do I need to make any modifications? Do you have any other recomendations, especially for the passenger?
Thanks
JlAS
That is what I should have done... Personally, I did not go for the TC because I do not care for the looks of the auxiliary lights or the top case. I will, however, install the winglets & crashbars.
Both: I believe the classic has more wind buffering and less upper body wind protection than the bagger. On the hand, the classic, IMHO, has more of a unique & timeless look, it's easier to handdle, and it's has the choice to ride with or without a windshield... In other words: Day rides =...
I am trying to decide on that possibility for me. I have the classic and thinking to trade for the Bagger. Is that worth it? I am not sure. For me, it might be, just because it will allow me to ride more in the colder months. On the other hand, I think the classic looks better (more...
