Question Album Artwork?

Has anyone been able to get album artwork to show up on the display while music is playing?

I always get the stock orange picture with music notes, but would love to have the actual album cover or artwork show up instead. I've used Google play music and YouTube music with the same result. I tried searching the internet and this forum for solutions and came up dry.

Nope. I've been beaten into submission by the BMW software. Inconsistent functionality is just a fact of owning one of these bikes.

Mine shows up all the time, I am using music from my iTunes library and all music my music has the album art downloaded.

Spotify does not display the artwork. As far as controls, it really only allows me to start and stop a playlist previous selected on the phone. It's essentially nothing but a Bluetooth aux input when used with Spotify.

Thank you! I kind of figured that if I had iTunes that it would work. I'm not sure I have any options for my Android phone though.

Noticed that song and album art show up when playing the local HD radio station.

I read that enabling AVRCP 1.6 for Bluetooth on my Android phone might fix the issue, but I put my phone into development mode and made that change without any luck.
