I would love to but to be honest I get completely confused by the web site.

P.s. figured it out.
Have info on both now.
Granada seems múch more interesting.

Continues the personal challenge; figure out what/how to share so it can be sponsored

I wonder though, do not have a diner jacket in dayglo nor do the safety pads fit in those I do have
I’m wearing my black Kevlar shirt with a tie and a tweed jacket… Stylish, yet safe at the same time.
My pants are Kevlar lined, but do not look like jeans. I coincidentally got Flying Goggles, so I shall be rather DGRish.

I went in my local one a couple of times about eight years ago (jeez time flies). Back then we had to book a slot online, I suppose to keep control of numbers. It was well run, a great day out, I dressed in a suit and tie, piss pot & goggles. From my experience I would deffo suggest trying it at least once. There were all sorts of bikes and tbh a lot more interesting stuff than you normally see out & about. Then it was cancelled during Covid and a couple of times afterwards due to shite weather and I’ve sort of forgotten about it I suppose.

For the Granada ride there are currently 39 registered.
Also the norm for ride outs over here is self organising chaos. Within city boundaries police in front and that is it.
It works well as all are aware of their own individual responsibility.

The annual regional Vespa happening I attend is wel over 350 Vespas and we travel in one huge flock. It gets strung out obviously and about every 20 or so kms the lead stops until the tail catches up and off we go in a cloud of smoke :p
I expect the DGR to be more sedate ;)

I will go with the rig in unsafe 😇 warm gear and open faced hard top. Change in Granada to  outfit with puddin´basin top and yes that has flying goggles. Will still sport sunglasses though.
It’s bloody freezing here now.

Define "freezing" .... Normal here is 15 C. It's getting only up to 11 today.
Last week we were getting 26-29. Tomorrow it’s 18 with rain and the mornings are 7-9 degrees.
As I discovered when living in Tasmania; temperatures are relevant to the country and state that you live in, temperatures that you are used to and weather that you prefer.
So ‘bloody freezing’ now, is comparing this week to last. 15 degrees in Tasmania is a whole lot different to 15 degrees in Western Australia. So, yes… it’s bloody freezing now here!

Over here it is not freezing till it is freezing as in below 0 Celsius 🫣

Today balmy. At the coast with refreshing sea wind.
The feria de naciones was awesome again.
Two times as many women as men, vast majority 'exotic' and in general dressed 'if you got it flaunt it´ 🤩 All in all great atmosphere, great food, great views 👌

I rode in the West Sussex event last year. Weather was great & the turn out was impressive.
As Petrus says, the cause is very worthy.
I’m watching the weather forecasts before I commit to this year’s ride.
