R18B TC Leg Shields/Memphis Shades MEM5804 Question

Trying to decide which (if any) are possible for me...

I have an R18B with the HORNIG engine guard. Thinking about getting the aftermarket Transcontinental leg shields, but not sure if they'll fit with the Hornig engine guard since its diameter and bend may differ from the OEM engine guard.

Another route would be going with the Memphis Shades MEM5804 fork mounted wind deflectors with the MEK1980 mounts, but I'm not sure you can put them on the R18B because of the fairing. I've only seen pictures of the Memphis Shades mounted on the Classic.

Just wondered if anyone could answer to the fitness of either scenarios.

They go on the front forks and you can mount them anywhere along them so there is some leeway as to there they can be mounted.

Perfect! Thanks man. I just ordered the 5804/1980 combination. Hopefully the brackets won't damage or deform the "rib" on the black fork shield...Harley guys call these "cowbells."
