Transcontinental or Bagger wheels

I have an R18 First Edition and to ensure peace of mind on extended trips I am changing the spoked tubed wheels to either Kineo tubeless spoked wheels or the Transcontinental/Bagger wheels. Does anyone know if they will fit on the R18 FE? Looking at them I see no reason they shouldn't. As a last resort I will install the BMW custom wheels even though they look like they came off of a clown car.
 
Any reason you are averse to converting your spoked wheels to tubeless? Would certainly be the cheapest option.

I'm also curious if there is some study or guidance out there hinting at tubes tired being more likely to fail on pavement? Being able to plug tubeless tires are nice, but it isn't a fix I would trust more than the minimum distance to the nearest shop.

Some of the ADV guys prefer tubes, since you can carry a spare tube and some tire irons and permanently fix it yourself in the middle of nowhere. Setting a tubeless bead on the side of the road somewhere would be sketchy business.
