Transcontinental owners! Tell me about the windshield!

As the title says, I am interested in hearing about the windscreen on the TC. I recently got a B and I wanted to add a screen to it but the review from 7 Jurok are very worrying.

How is the TC screen for the buffeting etc?

Thanks!

I am 5'8" and look through the TC screen but there is zero, zero, zero buffeting. In fact when I switch the winglets to the closed position, its like someone closed the windows. I am very happy with the TC screen although I kind of like the dark version from 7Jurock.

I'm about 5'7", the TC windshield was great in all respects, but when I got caught in the rain at night in slow traffic it was difficult. I put on a 7Jurock 18" tinted but it was still a bit tall. I am riding now with the B windshield which I can see over easily, a bit more wind on the helmet but it's manageable and the bike feels a lot more like a hotrod. I'll be trying the 7Jurock 18" again as I did since put on a higher seat and I did like the way the bike behaved with the 18.

The 7 Jurock 18in and 20in are almost exactly the same height, somehow. The 20in is "angled" like the stock B shield. But the 18in is angled like the stock TC shield which ends up causing both to end up at exactly the same height, as far as my 5ft 9in sight line goes. They work very well. After modifying a Cross Country seat to fit my TC I had to go back to the stock shield to avoid looking at the top of the 7Jurock shields. Will go back to 7Jurock after I finally get my Russell Day long seat as it should be about the height of the TC's Comfort Tall seat which worked well with the 20in 7Jurock. And yes, I have purchased 2 additional seats and 3 windshields and things are still not ideal for touring yet for me. BTW the bagger shield on the TC looks amazing but the added wind buffeting eliminated the joy of that stereo.

Nice stereo on the TC i have a bagger with stage 1 and seems good on the highway

Does anyone have the part number for the rubber grommets for mounting the B/TC windshield?
After the first half dozen times or so, I was swapping the rubber grommets but thinking I don't need more practice.
I looked on the fiche and did not see the rubber grommets listed and would like to get some to put in my backup.
Thanks!

UPDATE: part number for the TC/B windshield rubber grommet: 07 14 8 504 094

Good pics to compare. Thank you Armyvoyager. Clearly the 20" Jurock is higher than the stock B and it is wider. About how tall are you Army and did you look over the Jurock or through it?
