We started today our road trip to Sicilia from Toulon, south of France.

This first leg was motorway only, Toulon to Genova.
Only 4h30 riding, we did it the cool way, with a stop in Antibes for lunch on the beach.
Four on two bikes.
Cathy and Daniel on a Yamaha XVS 1300, Véronique and I on our R18.

We just boarded the ferry in Genova.
10pm here, we'll arrive in Palermo tomorrow 7 pm.

Next pics tomorrow.

We arrived on Sunday evening in Palermo and spent two days visiting the city and the numerous marvels in it.
So the bikes stayed in the garage, and Véronique walked on the roofs... 🤣
No bike pics!
Tomorrow we'll ride toward Trapani.

We made it to Cegeste, Trapani, Agrigenta, and we are now in Syracuse.
Some rain today made me realise that the Rain mode reduces dramatically the engine breaking.
And I can't figure out how it can be possible.

In Sicilia the motorways are ok.
But the regular roads are too often in bad shape...
