Wanna ride in Europe with your own Bike ?

In September 2019 I made a road trip in Germany and Austria with 3 US friends.
Black forest, mountain passes and so on. Just a fantastic trip !
I left from my place near Toulon, France, and rode up to Heidelberg with my R1200 C Montauk to meet them.
I want to talk you about a nice German guy, Stefan Knopf.
This gentleman is running an uncommon business.
He can organise the transport and the keeping of your bike from almost any place in the world to Heidelberg.
He also rents bikes, has a shop for repairs, maintenance and preparation etc...
And the B&B is very clean and friendly. He keeps up to 400 bikes !
We met people from many countries, including Kuwait and Saudia ...
The place can be the start for trips to Austria, Italy, France, etc...
One of my friend, Ted from California, keeps a bike all year long there, and comes regularly to ride in Europe.
The second, Paul, from Minnesota had his GS shipped for the occasion.
And the third, Steven, from Maine rented one.
So the place was the base for the trip.
This must be considered if you want to visit Europe, Stefan has a perfect organisation to help.
Of course, no personal interest in the business.

In 2019 I was fortunate enough to have two weeks of riding in Switzerland and France, around the Geneva vicinity. I was there to work at CERN and instead of the usual rental car, I had a rental Indian Roadmaster.
WOW! Riding in Europe is FANTASTIC!!!
