Not knowing exactly what the parameters are that are affecting the mixture (and/or timing advance) ... that is my theory as well. That would explain why (at least on mine) it comes back to what it should be relatively quick ...

Edit: Behind the accessory plug panel is the fill plug for the transmission oil .. it has a magnet on it, you can pull that one without having to worry...

... and I give you another one to think of ... first of, I do use what goes around here for 'Premium' at the pump ... but how much 'Premium' am I actually getting? most people put 'Regular' in their cars and there is only 1 hose on the pump ... so whatever is in the hose is...
