The fairing, the front mud gaurd, the seat and the oil radiater guard all Ali goodness as well. :cool: made the exhaust by modifying car exhaust tips.:)
 
Nice job 👍. What’s the ‘fit n finish’ like then on all these parts, I’ve often seen the adverts but never gone ahead even though the prices are dramatically different…..

Aliexpress is purely for the cosmetic stuff, not levers, seats or mechanical bits. Everything that I have purchased has been great. I completely dressed a KTM Duke 890R in Aliexpress and it was a great looking machine… but I like my R18 a lot more.

The bikini fairing and front gaurd are plastic but the fit and finish are 1st class. Look amazing and the pinstripes match perfectly. The oil radiator gaurd is metal, fit and finish 100%. Not only does it offer superior protection it looks so much better than plastic stock one. The protective pieces on the cylinder heads are metal and well finished. Really lifts the look of the bike. The seat looks very good and more comfortable than stock. Fit and finish 95%. The prices vary a bit, need to consider the postage and import duty price/gst for the total cost. I believe the parts are all the same but just different mark ups by the sellers.

It’s one good looking machine. Mine is the latest ‘Blacked Out’ version, so not much needed.

Ok, great, thank you will take a serious look at what’s available and maybe treat myself….

Well I replaced mine ages ago with a Wunderlich black one, it was top quality and fitted perfectly but having said that I’ve been looking at Aliexpress this afternoon and tbh their equivalent is about 1/4 of the price I paid and looks pretty damn decent.
