Fwiw.. over the last few years I've installed a wilbers on my R18, a Nitron on my r9t and went cheap with YSS on a Triump 1200 Bonnie (mates bike).... all made a great difference. Our roads are not maintained all that well these days.
I've done over 100 changes in my life and just reused the washer. No issues ever.
Also... climate change is not the big issue they say.
Women can't be men.... and men can't be women.
Oops... I went to far....
Wilbur's +20 adds an inch. Anyway, suspension is like people... you can have two people both 5ft 8 tall.... and one can be useless, the other a brain surgeon.
+20mm Wilbers shock from suspensions r us in Melbourne.... easy to fit once it arrives. Sorts spring and dampening and increase travel from 90mm to 115mm. Great for aussie roads.... about $1400aud.
Fwiw.... I needed shorter levers to get the bike down a narrow side of a new house.... so I got these.... and thought a bit about the colour etc. But..... I removed the chrome bar end weights as part of tne narrowing excercise anyhow and don't mind the look.
Yes.... have posted about it back then. Wilbers +20 rear shock shock and in the forks wilbers fork springs, 7wt oil and YSS emulators. 15,000kms on it now.... well worth it if bike is a long term keeper.
