I wanna take the whole assembly out but am thinking if that will initiate fault codes, if i unplug it from ECU.

If you get one out the other one is very easy. You can just rotate the disc until enough slack and then pop it out

I have the same backrest. Its a non detachable craftride pillion backrest we got from Motea.com. It was a PITA to fit it though. Just checked, looks lile they dont make them anymore.

Did you remove the servo unit in the rear aswell plugged to ECU. If so did you get any FI codes without servo buddy

Also, can i remove the servo unit connected to harness without servo buddy? Will this generate Fi codes?

It requires patience but absolutely doable. Use the spanner to rotate the disc forward and backward to get enough slack and then you pop it out.
