Where did you get the lower wind deflectors? I think that is the final piece I'm missing to smooth out the air. Thanks in advance for your reply.

This pressure relief technique is exactly what I use when disengaging the reverse gear. Needing to do this on occasion makes perfect sense to me. Like pulling up a parking brake handle just a touch, to be able to press the button, to deactivate .

I had an R18C FE that I traded for a R18B. Love it! I also have a HD Road Glide. I think that should cover it. Good luck with your decision.

I have been leaving mine on Studio as well. It is tuned for good sound while riding. I got tired of scrolling to the eq after each start up. Lately my radio has defaulted to XM radio vs, favorites. And so it goes....

Yep, always on the trickle charger when not in use.

Thanks Rambler! My only issues are that the radio source type does not save, the eq settings are flatlined, and the radio is off. This happens on start up after the bike has been off for a bit. Perhaps it is German Engineering....

Looks like my bike does not have the current firmware. Besides the connectivity issue, does this fix anything else? At initial start up, I have to go to the menu system and turn radio on, select input, and readjust eq. It seems like the bike does not remember these things when I turn off the...
