Thank you. I got the same advice yesterday from the dealer that sold me the (unreturnable) seat. I might stick with the stock instead of risking damage from a part that motorrad claims fits the Roctane. Coming from a Harley background, where there are multiple accessories that fit each model...
Today I received a Day Rider seat (the solo made by Mustang) for my Roctane. While it looks like it should fit there are a couple of electrical connectors that keep the seat from being seated completely. The rubber studs and the metal piece that holds the screw are an inch are two from sitting...
I had the same problem with my Roctane. I opted to have the OEM beach bars installed before I hit 100 miles. Here is the thread:

All done! Took about 3 weeks but the holidays slowed that down. Very happy with the result. Much more comfortable ride.
I’ll post photos once the forum server lets me. 🙄
Update. 2 weeks at the dealer. The bars have been installed but they found a problem with the turn signals. They are designed for the turn down of the mini apes so the wires that came with the kit don’t fit. They are going to make an extension for the wires. Hopefully no more than another week...
I found out that the Wunderlich bars don’t fit so the option I went with was the Motorrad beach bars. I hesitated because the wiring is external, but then so are the mini apes that came stock. I considered doing it myself since I’ve swapped lots of Harley and Indian bars, but I decided to let...
I found a pic online that matches what I'm looking for:
The article mentioned that this was a Classic but it also says that it has "accessory bars". I'm wondering if those are OEM beach bars? I've contacted Wunderlich to see if their bars fit the Roctane. I can live with chrome though...
My bad. It wasn’t a B, it was an R18 Heritage. https://www.bmwmotorcyclesroswell.com/Motorcycles-BMW-R-18-2024-Roswell-GA-d3907876-0bce-4d1b-9a39-b27b011a0d52
Not sure if these are beach bars, but they were really comfortable
Thanks! Have you done it? I’m wondering if cable/wiring extensions are needed. Seems like they would t since the mini apes have a good bit of length. Also, Wunderlich or OEM?
I bought a 24 Roctane today, my first BMW. The bike is pretty great, but while I was waiting on the paperwork at the dealer I sat on a 24 B that they had. I prefer everything about the Roctane except for the handlebars. I really liked the feel of the B handlebars. They were almost beach bars...
The issue is that I also have a HD road king special which is basically a twin of the r18. I have to decide if that makes sense or I just keep my Triumph Speedmaster
Follow up question. I’m watching a YouTube video and the guy is complaining about the R18 dragging foot pegs when he is on a highway off-ramp. I know this bike is not for twisties. I keep thinking that it will be like riding my HD Road King Special. I do not lean far into curves with the HD but...
