Spring Strut Adjustment Faulty!

Today, for the second time, I got this error message while riding: Spring strut adjustment faulty!

Back in mid-August, I saw this for the first time. I took the TC for a quick ride, and this error message came up before I was, say, 200 yards from home. I cleared the error, and it disappeared, and I thought that was the end of it. But I was wrong. Yesterday, just about one month later, it returned, but this time, the little yellow triangle was not going away even after clearing the message.

I have a 2022 R18 Transcontinental.

I have done an initial search on the form, but nothing came up in my search.

I will call my local dealer in the morning, but it would be beneficial if someone could give me a heads-up on what to expect.

I have a long weekend trip in just a couple of days.

How'd the ride feel, did the bike feel like it was bottoming out; perhaps, did you have any extra luggage and such on the bike?

Definitely keep us all posted (Model B and TC owners); I went for a ride this past Sunday and the roads were pretty rough with potholes and such, but the bike's suspension felt good.

I imagine there's a pump that dynamically adjust the rear shock; I just haven't given it much thought or had come across it while working on the bike.

Again, keep us posted - this is a new error.

Did you adjust settings just before turning off the bike when putting it away or just prior to leaving for your ride, power washing, or?

Were both occasions similar circumstances, approximately "200 yards from home"?

Can you check the connector for the shock is seated and no obvious damage to wiring is present?

Under warranty I tend to let the shop make things better, but checking the easy things like battery terminals and other likely connectors are snug only takes a moment and can save wasting your time getting to the dealer.

Happened to me, check all your connections under the seat. If any of those are loose or not fully seated it will throw the strut fault code.
