Other than the Metzeler Cruistec and 888's (as well as the stock Bridgestone Battlecruise H50), are there any other brands any FE owners are using? Seems the front tire size of 120/70-19 is a little bit more of a challenge for me to find a matching pair of the same brand and model with the rear tire of 180/65-16. I currently have the stock tires (Bridgestone Battlecruise H50) on my FE and the wear indicators are now showing on my front tire. I noticed them during my pre-ride inspection on my bike before riding from San Diego back home to Las Vegas yesterday (340 miles). I check my tire pressure before my rides and maintain the 39psi as instructed by tire manufacturer and the owners manual. I have actually dropped it down to 35psi during the summer here where it has been over 110F degrees consistently for over two weeks with one 1-2 days, reaching 120F degrees (49C degrees), to accommodate for the tire expanding from this heat wave.

I don't think I've ever come across my front tire wearing out first before my rear on my previous bikes. But then again, my bike has over 12K miles on it already. I guess I could go with another pair of the Bridgestones but would like to see what other options there are. And right now I only see the Metzelers (here in the US market) which I'll be totally fine with.

I'm also looking for tubes for the front tire size. So if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

I really tried perusing thorough the different threads on tires here but cannot seem to find what I'm looking for. If someone knows of an old thread I can review please let me know. Thanks!

I went with a 'Cruisetec' front and I think it is a bit too soft for the FE narrow tire ... it started 'cupping' after 2500 Miles ... still a good tire and I will run it out to the end .. but I think I will try the '888' version next time ... just my 2¢ ;)
