2024 BMW R18B
I recently ordered what I believed was a Kern-Stabi rear assembly stand for my R18B. Their confusing product page prominently displayed the complete stand, when the item actually being sold was only an accessory.
Very misleading, in my opinion. I promptly cancelled the order, which Louis acknowledged on September 11. I subsequently received what I understood to be cancellation confirmation, and the pending charge disappeared from my credit card.
Nearly two weeks later, Louis charged me C$202.16 and shipped the item anyway!

Since then, it's been nothing but excuses and finger-pointing at their supplier. Despite repeated requests, Louis has failed to provide the dates proving when my cancellation was forwarded or when the order was processed.
Initially, they assured me I could refuse delivery "at no extra cost." Later, they reversed their position and expected me to pay return shipping! Canada Post then wanted another $14.35 in import charges.
I refused delivery on October 8, and my credit card company is aware of the dispute.
A misleading product listing, a cancellation that apparently meant nothing, contradictory promises and zero accountability.

My advice? Think twice before ordering from Louis Moto, especially from overseas. They've permanently lost my business.

At first glance, the price is a red flag for me despite the exchange rate to USD.. that said, I'm still not clear as what was actually delivered?

Was it the four wheel casters for that price?

I really don't know because I refused the package at the post office when they asked for further duty charges. I can assume it was casters as you say? You are right about the price; I should have been more suspicious, and actually was, so I put the order through ChatGPT, which actually identified my error. You have to admit the product page is confusing when you can't even identify what the 'manoeuvring accessory' actually is.

I ordered my Kern-Stabi from Louis Moto a couple of years ago. One of the pluses for ordering from them in the UK is that they would refund any import duty.
Similarly I was initially sent just the four wheel caster set rather than the lift which is what I ordered. It appeared to be a SKU number screw up on their part.
However I contacted them straight away and then sent me prepaid postage labels to return the wrong bits and promptly shipped the lift. As per their promise, they refunded the import duty I had to pay promptly and with no quibbling.

I am glad you had a good experince which I initially did as well.
  • Anette Henkel — Servicecenter representative who acknowledged my cancellation request on September 11, 2026.
