Noco NLP30 battery upgrade Amazon prime

So from what I am gathering, there’s old school lithium ion batteries (probably a first generation) and there’s LiFePO4 tech lithium ion batteries now.

And Google says: The NOCO NLP30 battery is LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate), a specific type of lithium-ion battery. It is designed for powersports vehicles and offers a long lifespan, high starting power, and low maintenance compared to lead-acid batteries. Chemistry: The battery uses Lithium...

When the time comes I'll replace with the OEM 61218414924 or the Yuasa YIX30L That way I keep my Optimate 4 CanBus which has served me so well thru my last 4 BMW rides.

Actually the Optimate 4 Quad Program | PREMIUM Edition (CanBus) does not work Lithium-Ion which is what the NLP30 is. It only works with LiFePO4 lithium batteries, Other Optimates can do LiFePO4 but don't have CanBus. So the option would be to get a NOCO charge and a pigtail.

    Hard starting

I compared the Yuasa sizes to the NOCO sizes and they are nearly identical. https://www.yuasabatteries.com/battery/yix30l/?vehicle_type=motorcycle&vehicle_make=bmw&vehicle_year=2022&vehicle_model=r18&vehicle_id=42172

    Lower Wind Deflectors

I'm 5'6" (maybe) and have the Jurock 14" with curve, wide option. And works pretty well 75 mph and under. Just trying to optimize > 75mph as the bike loves 3,000 rpm which is above that speed.

    Lower Wind Deflectors

Bracket turn out to be too small. Would only brace near top of fork, didn’t like the position just behind the light and turn signal, Also don’t like how the bracket sits on the fork covers which are not smooth round due to the vertical rib molded.

to adventure or not to adventure

When I did Adv riding on my GS, notably the MABDR, I did have the BDR route and planned stays as the locations can be a bit remote (b&b, camps or hotels). Now, when riding on the R 18 I just plan the route, usually secondary roads (tarmac of course) and don’t worry where I will be staying. When...

    Lower Wind Deflectors

Don't like the 13" long lower deflectors. Just found these 7.9" tall on Amazon and ordered. Will report back. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBVSN4QY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
