Hi , well my friend i done the same myself , if you use very fine wire wool it will remove the debri and not damage the chrome surface . I never cover my bike now after a ride out always cover it the next day .

Across the pond here second hand models give you a good bargain , i purchased the 2022 Classic , i was worried about the weight as i,m an old duffer, but riding it now i think i would of purchased the Transcontinental what a smart machine and a great bargain .

Hi i had the same problem on my 2022 Classic , i found you do not "push" the lever all the way in one go , just ease it down till it stops then push it it into position and the R should come on the speedo .

We have a saying over here BMW stands for bring more wonga !!!!! servicing costs are the same over here in the UK so if i cannot do some work i go to an independent BMW technician and its a lot cheaper .
