Well the full story i was told by my local service dept is ,the unit will be disabled as the engineering dept have not yet produced the remedy to the problem , when this is announced the unit will be repaired even if you go out of warranty , there was no mention whatsoever about compensation ...

First thing is a test ride , R1800 is a heavy bike but its low and you have the added benefit of having both feet down when moving it , only a test ride will deliver whether you like the bike or not , the only complaint i would have is the screen is not good enough for long tour rides does not...

Well i,m like everyone else here , i,m 6 foot tall own a Classic , after about six months i fitted 1 inch bars risers, also i fitted a Corbin Gunfighter seat and backrest , this made a lot of difference as i sit "in" the bike rather than on it , to be honest though i should of fitted higher bar...

Welcome my friend , hope you enjoy the machine , i have the classic and the wind buffeting is the same for me so i fitted a Puig top screen and it does take the wind down to an acceptable level .
