Try Venhill USA for custom length hydraulic lines: https://www.venhillusa.com/line/build. Their great to work with, good quality and reasonably priced.
The difference between the Weekender and the stock seat, at least on a Classic, is night and day. The stock 719 seat, while beautiful, became painful after 30 minutes. The Weekender lets me ride all day with no issues. Did a 12 hour trip recently with zero butt pain. The seat does put you closer...
Still have it, boxed snd ready to go. $400 plus shipping. Here’s the original post: https://www.r18forums.com/threads/bmw-mustang-weekender-seat-400.2810/
Was it easy to insert the Li battery being smaller a lighter? I’ve struggle to remove the battery in the past and am looking for a smaller alternative.
Bought a similar variation of these and the strength is in the bolts not the actual riser block. As long as the bolts remain fixed and tight you should be fine. DK Design makes these as well but they’re more pricey: https://www.dkdesign-global.com/product-page/dkdesign-bmw-r18-handlebar-risers...
No sore butts out there? Still for sale, treat your hiney and ride your bike longer than 30 minutes. Also perfect for placing your helmet during rest stops.
Russell Day-long raises me up about 2 inches and lets me slide back to the stop. Have a Mustang Weekender as well (selling) a d it raised me up about an inch but also pushed me forward about an inch; not uncomfortable just took some getting used to. It is a nice seat but I prefer the RDL.
Selling my Weekender as I “upgraded” to a Russell Day-long. The weekender is years beyond stock in terms of comfort but RDL is light years ahead of everything else as far comfort is concerned. Bike is a 22 Classic.
Yes; I finally spoke with Wunderlich USA and they exchanged rider for me so waiting to see how they look. Apparently, there was a mid-year change in the triple tree and so a change in how the riser fit. It wasn't very well indicated on their website.
Still available and at a great price. Reward your butt cheeks and ride these awesome machines all day. I’m told that new these seats are over $1000. Still asking $400 plus shipping.
Before yall beat me up I did a forum search, and no new information came up. The Wunderlich risers require both sleeves (the #5s in the microfiche pic) in the triple tree mount to come out and only the bottom one stays with the Wunderlich part going in at the top with the riser attached to the...
