So true. I like H-D but the biker culture that was once an attraction is now a turn off. Let me add loud pipes, loud sound systems, obnoxious throttle revving. Unfortunately, H-D is in a bad place.

Salvage project '21 R18 Classic. Someone cut the side stand switch wires. Who knows why. I tried to splice the 3 back together but it is a tough splice given the location. Now it's throwing a code occasionally. Would rather not deal with it.

Does anyone know if you can disable the side stand / kickstand switch with a GS-911? Thank you.

Thank you. Certainly, the absolute fix. I'm guessing I added 10ML of Dot 4. Left it in for a week and maybe 100 miles. I then emptied and cleaned the master reservoir. Then refilled with mineral oil. I'll watch for leaks and poor clutch operation. The risk of a breakdown does not escape...

Interesting how other bikes with DOT 4 brakes and clutches with rubber inserts don't perish. BMW must have picked a specific rubber to punish us for our mistakes.
