I carry the plastic key in my wallet. I've found it will not link to the bike even when I set the plastic key onto the seat. But then again I typically have my wallet in my jacket or shirt pocket when riding... the ol' sciatic, ya know. I also carry a spare fob battery on the bike.... just in case.

Probably not very helpful but.... none, at least at this point in my life. The TC has been, and continues to be, a great bike for me, either solo or 2-up.

Scott, my apologies as I read this post a couple days ago but I didn't realize it was meanr for me. The bars and fairing still have plenty of clearance after my bsrscwete rotated up.

👍 I haven't broken in my TC yet, only 7,800 miles so far. I consider this in relation to my '02 GS; it didn't feel broken in until I hit around 18,000 miles.

I would imagine jeans alone allow quite a bit of heat through! I wear leather boots that come up over the calf and I find the cylinder heads adequate for stretching out, no burning my legs. Just my way of doing it, YRMV.
