I did the same like Enzo, on both sides. I just patched the convex mirror with double sided tape on the OEM one. The thickness excess is hardly visible. The round shape of the OEM mirror dont let enough room for a small additional blind spot mirror. The convex mirror is way more comfortable.

I've done this. Needs some DIY to fit. The grip is now in leather.

I agree! I have exactly the same, but without the front rider backrest mount. So I dont have the leather flap. I eventually removed the passenger backrest since I installed a top case.
