They are Wunderkind 2stripes.... I'll look on my pc later to see if I got them somewhere cheap.... I got them to reduce handle bar width to get the bike down a narrow side after moving house..... so may have approached the expense as a "moving house" one, not "boy hobby"....
update...
Fwiw.... there is another side to me..... last week I did a 2hr ride to get 6 pink lamingtons (that's my "heading to the snow" ride).... it's a real achievement getting 5 home not squashed.... this is how life achievements are measured in my retirement these days.
Anyway.... these...
My R18 took on the 2nd most venomous snake in world to save me back in 24..... that would be the Sky news headline.
My wife would say..... don't be a sook.... you ran over a brown snake when you went to get a donut (bakery ride). Generally, we live in the wife's world.
I haven't seen such a good lot of BMW R18 parts for sale before. Worth a look if you need something......... interesting to just see some of it....

Full airbox... fair bit of volume to it after the panel holder front end of it.
Yes... I'm surely onto something. Just purchased some carbon fibre underpants....... every bit of me down there needs more performance these days, will report back on the performance gains when I take the wife for a ride later.... if nothing else.... I'm hoping my farts will no longer stink...
Oops.... just ordered the carbon fibre bits posted above.
Went for a ride yesterday and found myself in one of those poorly thought through overtaking situations, full throttle full rev range 3rg gear pull (so maybe 40mph to 75mph).... the bike just ripped.... maybe the tubes "do do...
Finally found the plates I refferd to many pages ago.....
Mmm ..... behave Noel....
Anyway.... ordered 1802cc thing for each speed tube and 4 titanium black 5mm bolts... a Pagani has about 2,000 titanium bolts ($120k's worth) so my R18 can have 4 no worries mate.
I downsized house in the last year.... when cleaning out the old garage I tossed both the r9t and R18 shock in the rubbish. Appropriate place for them.
I went for my 1st proper ride yesterday with the suckers. Bike ran well (to be expected) and nothing broke or fell off (always good). All windy country roads and lots of throttle and speed into the naughty part of the speedo range.
Anyway, was it notably better? Unfortunately, I want to...
