Question for the guys that used the Bren tune remap: Which is the only one I know of. Did all of you that installed the Bren tune also swap out the factory air filter and assembly? I guess the question really is, do I HAVE to screw around with the air filter if I do the re map? Or can I leave...

So when you say "opening the airbox" what do you mean?

U, I'm not touching it for now....in my other bikes Harley's, BMW R9T, I used K&N air filters, and I think there probably was a respectable difference to be had in air flow quality over stock. Wondering if that is the case with the R18 stock air filter if you have an opinion? Thanks.

Has anyone swapped out the factory air filter for an after market brand and noticed any performance advantage? Is the factory filter too restrictive? Thanks. Because...my bike has 700 miles on it, but I plan to toss in the Bren Tune re map soon. And it seems like people that added the re map...

Then I guess you're planning on leaving the foot pegs on. It might be possible to attach the pillion seat and remove it once in awhile IF your VERY careful and your girlfriend is also very careful getting on and off, and her clothing et.... My wife had her own bike....doesn't ride...

The seat comes right off with an allen wrench. But finding an attractive bolt to put in the threaded hole that is left there is a little more challenging. And black bolts to replace the foot pegs bolts that came off are. I can send you a pic of what i dug up to replace them. I would imagine in...

Personally, I'd go with the anniversary model. The classic is more or less like the other R18s. The Anniversary model in time MIGHT be the better choice. Looks wise, no contest, the anniversary model is the bomb.

Respectfully, I have found experience to be FAR superior to opinions. You of course believe what you like...I have thousands and thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours screwing around with bikes that tells me different... BTW if you notice at some airports that have huge backwalls placed...
