Rattles can be difficult to trace. Try pressing on various spots to see if it'll make it go away.

Have you tried tracing the wiring back? It may have disconnected. I've never seen heated grip for $50 ... most aftermarket ones I've seen (Koso, Oxford for example) are closer to $200 ... CAD anyway.

If I ever was to buy an R18B I'd prefer the ones without the sound system as with the bags small enough as they are, the speakers there just take up more room. Those are rare though.

I've never owned a bike with speakers and have always used in-helmet comms units (Cardo Edge for example) along with earplugs to listen to music (or communicate with fellow riders). Do people still use earplugs while listening to bike speakers? Without the earplugs, surely the wind noise...

The new F450GS has a system that has a clutch lever but you can ride it without using it if you wish (even take off in 1st that way). Still need to use the shifter peg with your foot but you can give your left hand a rest if you like. With my recent left thumb issues, that'd be nice to have...

Something has scuffed those areas. If it was lower on the bike, I'd say it may have been dropped. It's nothing a sand and some touch-up paint couldn't fix but I'd be wanting to know how those got there.

They do look the same don't they? Just wished they were up as high as the OE mirrors but it's not a problem.

Are the mirrors at the same height as the originals as the ones I got sit about an inch or more lower.

Are those the BMW accessory mirrors or the eBay ones that fit a Road King (as I have)?

Nice solution. I had a MoDoor before on a previous bike which does essentially the same thing.. I eventually just bought a Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Door Opener and now use the app on the phone to open and close the door.
