For what its worth, I haven't gone the BT route yet - the Transcontinental is completely stock tune, exhausts, and air filters. In city traffic, in Rock mode, I average 6.5 L/100 km and 15.58 km/L. Long distance stats in Rock are around 5.0 L/100 km and 17.5 km/L.

I got the same cylinder head trim, from Ae too. Like Dracko, I was pretty impressed with the product. My 2021 TC has chrome cylinder head covers and came with RSD trim. I was a bit uneasy about some knowledgable low life just unscrewing the bolts and walking off with a small fortune of RSD...

Hadn't thought about it before, but were there any issues with central locking? When I lock the bike the panniers and the top box lock as well.

Thanks BER18 100. Interesting to hear it confirmed - removing the top box makes the bike quite a bit lighter. Was handling better, or just different?

So, for those of you ahead of me ... I've decided to remove the top case from my TC. Like some of the earlier posts, I'll put it back on for longer trips but for daily rides I'm finding I don't really use it, and removal might improve the handling a little. I'm going to keep the TC rear rack...

Good point, but there doesn't seem to be any resistance to rapid bar movement at all, which in my limited experience not normal for the OEM dampers. Will need to pull it off and check it, and report back at some point.
