Keep in mind slightly loose valve adjustment is far better than too tight! Doing/having it correctly adjusted is the ideal. Do it yourself if you wish. But if you bring your bike to a dealer and say check valve adjustment, its likely they will.

Its a stock BMW part. Part Number 77 33 9 443 607 WINDSHIELD MASKED LOW $74.96. Just the windshield, not mounting parts.

Back to the original post studs, I think I'm going to try and break loose the foot peg bolts before I order replacement pegs! Are heel toe shifters required when you install floor boards?

My first BMW MOA Rally, nice, but probably my last. I did see Wunderlich's booth with an R18 and many of their accessories on it. Glad I did.

I have in mind a bobber seat with the stock rear fender but that may not be realistic. there are some great solo seats available for the bobber rear setup.

The price is ridiculous. But, honestly, if it had been comfortable, I would have bought it! I am so glad I had the chance to sit on it. Wunderlich had an R18 there with most of their bobber accessories on it. front and rear fenders, seat, handlebars, license plate bracket and more. looked great...
