I tend to agree, and I usually have the Beemoto which is about as minimalist as you can get, but the addition of having my phone & messages visible when I ride is great ........ plus, if I didn't have my satnav there is a pretty good chance I would never come home :ROFLMAO:

Being 'geographically challenged' I have installed a satnav/phone interface - cheap as chips on Aliexpress but works brilliantly

Regarding those side panels, did you machine them out of buy a pair of modified panels?

I just remembered - on my old First Edition, I was really puzzled by a ringing sound from the forks area and it took me ages to pinpoint it. After some experimenting, I found that it was the fork shrouds 'ringing' under certain road conditions/surfaces etc. I cured it by sticking sound deadening...

I don't get it on my Valkyrie which has an almost identical riding position, even down to engine format & footpegs :ROFLMAO:. I may have try a small screen of some sort, although I am not sure how it would suit a Bobber.

The R18 has to run lean to squeeze it into the Euro5 specs - you can feel that when you ride. Most of the tunes I have had simply smooth out the dips in the torque curve, making rideability a much more pleasant experience. I am not looking for more power - just a smoother ride with a nicer sound.

Here in the UK, the Bren Tune is a bit pricey for me. I have had many bikes reflashed in the past for a fraction of the cost, but the R18 is still not an option as far as I can see. Has anyone found a flasher in the UK? :oops:

I think the 'naked' look suits the bike well, especially the bobbed version. The covers are just too chunky for me
