Air does come up between the windshield and the lowers. I do not notice much helmet buffeting. But it isn't, like no air getting to the rider, there is...it just isn't turbulent air.

It/they still allow for air. It's the same one as above, just use the drop down selection as the windshield, and the lower deflectors is there.

I really don't seem to have a problem with low speed maneuvers on either the pure or the TC. I admit, it takes some practice.

Trade it for the Transcontinental, she will love the seat on it. Much more comfortable than any of the K1600 seats.

I did the same...2021 R1250RT traded for a 2022 R18TC. No regrets! The RT was a great bike, but boring for me. My only wish, was that the R18 had 50 more hp and lb ft, of torque available.
