That is where I took that picture. They were still in the old building when I picked up my R18 from them.

    Exhaust Servo

Where you live could hinder your ability to modify anything on your bike. I’m fortunate to live in Wisconsin where there is no motorcycle emissions testing and you’ll only get a sound violation if you ride like an imbecile.

    Exhaust Servo

Your post may be good in theory but I can tell you that my real world experience has shown that it is not the case. Opening up the exhaust does not eliminate all back pressure, it only reduces it. And along with freeing up the intake with an open filter it makes more power. The Brenn tune...

I didn’t want to comment while the auction was live. But those wheels just don’t fit the R18 at all. A set of Kineo tubeless spiked wheels would have been a better choice IMHO.

When 110 Cubic Inches feels inadequate.

Perhaps but retro is the key word. There is nothing really attractive about the Boss Hog. The R18 is literally sculpture in comparison.

When 110 Cubic Inches feels inadequate.

And no one ran to the Boss Hog website to order one up. It’s a curiosity not a motorcycle with a high degree of functionality.

When 110 Cubic Inches feels inadequate.

I really doubt that 10,000 number is even close to accurate. But to each his own. There is a saying in my industry, “There’s an ass for every seat.”

When 110 Cubic Inches feels inadequate.

Dumbest “motorcycle” I’ve ever seen. My buddy had one years ago. All it was good for was attracting gawkers.

Is it possible to reset service warning

LOL, I just used my GS-911 to clear the service reminder the other day. And Star-Lord is correct, it has tremendous capability. A must have if you are going to service or modify your BMW.

That union is the trouble spot on so many aftermarket exhaust alternatives. The odd flow angles from the head pipe back makes for some weird looking transitions. You would think there would be a market for someone to do it right.

    Oddities: Exposed Fuses

I agree, when I first took a look at those exposed fuses I said to myself WTF. It’s only a matter of time before corrosion sets in.

Pics of my R18 bobber - GroBe Krüge (finally)

The front fender? Yes, I used a KlockWerks fender designed for an Indian Scout and fabricated my own mounts. KlockWerks introduced their R18 fitment this year.

I saw that and I made him an offer but he is looking for more I guess.

When I weighed the cost vs the impact I didn't deem it was worth it.
