I made a lazy Susan to turn my TC around in my garage.

I changed the oil every 8000 km and the plug was always clean so I was concerned. Had good ride today so I will check the next oil change and hope all is good. Thx for the post.

I kept the old oil and submerged a magnet in the oil and didn’t find any metal filings.

I didn’t take a picture, should have.

Changed my oil at 50000 km and notice two small metal filings on the plug, I change the oil every 8000 km this is first time I have seen a metal filings. The bike works great done a 800 km scoot the other day with no problems but concerned. Looking for suggestions, thanks in advanced.

Before pinstripe.

I thought my Transcontinental should have come with a pinstripe on the front fender so I took it to an artist and had one painted on.

Thx for the information. I am concerned because I noticed the paint came off the hydraulic cylinder, I couldn’t find any leaks and assumed it was just poor quality of paint on the cylinder.

Hi, Can you adjust the rear suspension on the Transcontinental, last summer during a long ride the rear suspension bottomed out. Only happened that one day but a couple of times during the ride. Thanks Barry

I was cleaning up my bike for winter storage and noticed the rear strut reservoir had what I thought was road film on it. I started to clean the reservoir with soap and water and the paint came off. The suspension seem fine and I don’t have any error messages, just concerned some may have leaked...

I saw that video and was reluctant to do it myself, I was at shop for reverse recall so I asked the technician. I was surprised when he call me in to set the position to my preference. Barry

I had mine adjusted/lowered at the dealership last week, it took the technician 15 minutes to take everything off and another 15 minutes to put it back together. He said it was basically same process for the head light recall so he could do it in sleep. It was well worth 1/2 hour labour charge.

I added rubber washers to the inner lid and the top lid for additional support.

Hi Matte, I live in Nova Scotia and have taken many trips to New England area on my bike, the ferry to Nova Scotia is expensive and does save any time. My preferred route across Maine is highway 9 From Bangor to Calais.

Can you adjust the handlebars on TC closer to the rider, I get back pain between my shoulder blades after riding.
