I completed the bobber project using my original BMW wiring harness, lights, and mounting extremely modified to mount to my seat, very happy with the result, no more hazard lights even with the pollution crap gone 😊

It really isn’t uncomfortable, I’ve been riding on treadplate seats for 30 years, upholstery causes chafing on long rides treadplate doesn’t, tip I got from a patient of mine that rides long, says she’d rather sit on the fender than upholstery for that reason.

Love it… I lengthened my front peg as well and intend on doing the rear one as well, on my Road King for the rear shifter I put an extended shift arm from J&P cycles to give me more real estate on the floor board, considering doing same on the R18

Actually i think i got my values from the owners manual but when i did my 12k service i used .25mm for both

If you get the appropriate rim, can you mount a 16/240 tire on the stock swing arm as is.
