Each badge has 2 Torx screws ( can’t remember if T10 or T15 ). You don’t have to remove engine cover. Perhaps spray some penetrating fluid . I’ve changed front engine cover and it takes 2-3 hours ( see Ulrich’s video on this site for removal - recommended). Photos of each side of engine cover...

✔️. Do you want to change the front engine cover or the blue bmw badge ? If just badge remove screw and use fishing line or plastic tool to pry off.

Ciro ( brand ). Bicycle inner tube on engine bar and 80 grit sandpaper on inner clamp - both stuck down with “ liquid nails “ before clamping. Maybe put your clamps in position with above and then drill through clamp and bar then “pin it “ in place with screw / bolt.

Tyre on first ; reduction noticeable. Next day sound matting and rubber buffers either side of screws . Better outcome. Good reduction.

Dynamat lower half of front guard, rubber either side of front guard / fender screws and new Metzeler ME88 has reduced road noise. Next the cow bells with some material to reduce harmonics.

Leg splitting - at 6’2” have long legs ( and the adductors need stretching ).

Problem rectified with soldering male spades on LED light wires and inserting into original bike plug ( female ). Posi connectors not providing good enough connection.

Riding for first half hour - no codes . Then Brake fault code and lost cruise control. Hopefully just posi connection problem. Out for 300 km ride. Will check when home.
