GS 911 works very well, bought one a few years ago to reset service reminders and troubleshoot any faults on my 14 GTL, traded that in on the 22 TC and works like a champ. My biggest gripe is my wifi at the house isnt very strong in my shop! Contemplating whether to move the shop or the house...
Large Garbage bags, work very well for keeping things dry. I put everything in a trash bag wrap tightly, and put in any bags on the seat or in panniers. Dry as can be, and doesnt take up a lot of room!
Phone holder area is another story, extremely damp in there, yet BMW expects you to put an...

Mine vibrated out as well found a suitable sub nut at a local honda dealer, until I could order some acorn nuts from my BMW dealer. Be prepared those darn things aint cheap! Put some blue loctite on them when reinstalled.
I agree they are pricey. I delayed for years. I broke down and bought a set and the very first ride I went on left at "oh my gawd it's early! Came around a corner and as the lights panned the opposite shoulder I saw 3 sets of eye's, Danger close! Slammed on the brakes and stopped it was deer, I...
I pulled mine today and did the wrap on the fuel Cap cover also the little piece at the seat. Turned out rather well for my first time ever doing the wrap thing. I also left the phone holder out, I put a microfiber towel in the bottom of that rather big empty spot! I can get a garage door opener...
