I'm thinking about getting one of the knock-off screens from Ebay for my base R18. But, I don't see an easy way to remove those caps on the forks so you can install the bracket. How do you do that?! Thanks.

Yep. Support said to use the "one-click" method only. What worked for me was to, one at a time, click each of the buttons and back out. Rinse and repeat.
