    Side Reflectors

Thank you very much for your replys. I was concerned that the reflectors were "plugged in", rather than glued. Used a hair dryer as recommended. Anything left over took care of with some turps and washed up with soap and water. Again, Thanks!

    Side Reflectors

I have an R18 Roctane. I would like to remove the side reflectors on the front two wheel shocks, and the two saddlebags. Has anyone done this and are there any problems? Assume they are glued on? And the removal doesn't leave any gaps, etc?

    Service Warning Light

How does one cancel the Service Warning Light? I just had all the oils done and the light stays on. It wasn't done at a dealer.

Heated Grips for the 2024 R18 Roctane

The third level barely warms me through my gloves at 80 kmh and around 10 degrees centigrade. My BMW dealer mechanic says it hot????

Heated Grips for the 2024 R18 Roctane

Does anyone know the factory specs for the temperature of each of the three settings for the handlebar grips?

    Heated Grips

That's exactly what mine looks like. At 3 bars I can barely feel the heat with gloves on and at 45' F.

    Heated Grips

I ride a 2024 BMW R 18 Roctane with heated grips. A friend has a 2023 R18 Roctane. He says that his grips at the 3 bar level are so hot he has to lower to 1 or 2 bars. Mine at 3 bars (the highest heat level) barely keeps my hands warm while wearing normal gloves. The dealer's mechanic says...

    Turn Signals (R18 Roctane)

There is nothing in the Roctane manual about "Comfort Setting" My dealer said 'no can do'. Don't understand why so many differences in the R18 models. For example, My Roctane has a 16 litre gas tank as apposed to the 20 in other models. Where I live in Canada, it's almost mandatory to have a...

    Turn Signals (R18 Roctane)

I find that the signals automatically turn off too soon (for my liking). I would like to go 'retro' and turn them off myself (Yes, I'll forget once in a while). Is it possible to cancel the auto shut off of the turn signals? My dealer says no. However, I had a Goldwing and my mechanic...

    Wunderlich Leg Rest

where did you get the engine covers? Especially the BMW ones. Also, is that an aftermarket horn?

    Wunderlich Leg Rest

As far as I'm concerned this is very poor and appears to be cheap manufacturing. I'm of the generation that grew up with chrome on cars and elsewhere. This should NOT happen after a couple of months!!!!! Spread the word. Maybe (or not) Wunderlich will realize that the "accountants" aren't in...

    Wunderlich Leg Rest

I purchased a set of chrome leg rests from Wunderlich for my BMW R18 Roctane in June. After a couple of months they have rusted. I have decided to remove them from my 'Pony'. I CANNOT recommend them in the slightest. They come with instructions to clean on a regular basis. I do this with my...

    Initial Oil Change

BMW recommends first oil change for R18 Roctane at 10,000 Km (6,000 Miles). Does anyone recommend otherwise? If so, why?

    Luggage Rack Disappointment

I went with the black for two reasons.. Number one it matched the general 'black' look of my bike and Secondly if there was a problem I could easily use a gloss rust paint to correct the damage, which I have now done. I contacted them with very disappointing results. They clearly are trying to...

    Luggage Rack Disappointment

Earlier this spring I purchased a luggage rack (and back rest) from Roadstyler. It was, in my opinion, quite expensive but seemed well engineered. I attached a leather tool case to it which I carry some small things like a tyre gauge and other small objects. After a couple of months the paint...

    Windshield

I recently purchased a 2024 R18 Roctane. I'm looking for a flare type windshield. Any suggestions? I had the National Cycle on my Suzuki M109R and it worked beautifully. No issues, did what it was designed for, and it looked good.
