A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
BMW Motorrad America is offering $3000 off 2021 R18s and R18Cs along with .9% financing.
They are also offering the same .9% financing with BMW making the first 6 monthly payments "up to a maximum of $2000."
Nothing on the website says these are either/or packages. That would mean $3000 off...
Sounds like a plan. Will be waiting to hear how it all goes.
I wish you smooth sailing and no further problems once this next fix happens!
Best of luck.
That's a great paint job, Cheshire!
Tommy: I'm really liking the way those covers look on your bike. Will put them on my wish list!
Good luck with the new ride, Cheshire!
This is terrible news. I'm sorry to hear it.
Does your state (Washington, right?) have a motor vehicle lemon law? In CT, the lemon law says that repeated repairs to a late-model vehicle, even if they're covered by warranty, constitutes a lemon, and the owner can demand either a new vehicle or a...
Echoing other posts here: like the Bagger a lot. Can't justify trading my Classic for one. Maybe in a year or two if prices drop dramatically--but I hope the bike defies predictions and sells well.
Todka,
Your bike is under warranty. You should call the dealer and tell them to pick it up, have it diagnosed, and bring it back. If you've got a fault light on, you (and the dealer) will not want to risk engine damage.
I'm sure it's probably nothing, but here is when you need to lean on...
I knew the score when MAX BMW's website showed a scarcity of almost all new models except the R18. I got a good deal. Not as good as the ones listed here, but good.
The bottom line is: I love my Classic and have ridden it more the last month and a half then I usually ride all summer.
Now...
Where in Mass. are you?
I'm near Hartford, CT, and ride a Classic. I often ride in Western Mass--Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lenox, Lee, Otis.
Happy to meet up for a ride sometime if you're not too far.
Like most things, timing matters.
I bought mine in late June. Dealer knocked several thousand dollars off the price, gave me top $ (better than retail) for the trade of my 1250RS, 0-percent financing, and a nice accessory credit.
I hear BMW still has several offers on the bike, and, as other...
I'm really sorry to hear this. I'd hold out for a new bike. BMW is a premier brand, and the R18 is an important model for them. I think they'd want happy customers.
Is your dealer acting very sympathetic? He should be pushing hard for you!
Hang in there.
