Moongod stated they would Update the details when rectified… the post hadn’t been updated so was interested in what the issue was if and when it was rectified! 2 years ago or not, the reason I bumped it was to find out what the issue was!
I’m looking for two also and bought 2 of the same as you did… although the metal ‘blades’ do not fit my helmets, but the coiled wire fits through the flip of the helmet and round the handlebars then up between brake/clutch cables. Bit of a pain but I found it to be a solution!
I was wondering if any R18 owners had any issues and solutions for wrist issues from using R18 clutch. I have arthritis and find the clutch lever to cause a lot of discomfort after even a short ride and wondered what other riders in the sane situation did as a solution to this issue?
I find...
Great, thanks for this… i’m in UK so will try and find this in Europe but now that I have a reference number! 66129445047 as my model has the reverse assist!
👍
Hi… I have bought a double USB socket to replace the din plug on my R18, I took the plastic panel off by removing the one screw at the bottom of the panel. After replacing the plug socket, I see I might just have enough room to add the original socket on the vertical face of the plastic panel...
Possibly, just thought it strange being told 2.5 to 3 hours, taking 6 to not do the replacement then being told they preferred to pick the bike up and hold it for a few days to try and fit it in!
Anyway, as long as it gets done this time as I find it really useful to have… mine worked fine...
I booked my 100 years in for 1st service and reverse recall, was told 2.5 to 3 hours… after 6 hours they returned the bike but without the reverse recall completed as they said there was a part they were missing! They called me again, they want to pick the bike up so they can find a slot to do...
Seems I missed the boat! I was going over to California so I thought i would leave it and get them there... seems lidlox is closed, even tried phoning them when I was there and the same message on the phone! 'Lidlox is currently closed, Sorry for any inconvenience.'
I hope to be going to France on my R18 100 years next summer, I have my Crit'Air but wondered where Frence R18 owners display theirs? Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks
Je pars en France sur ma R18 100 ans l'été prochain, j'ai ma Crit'Air mais je me demandais où les propriétaires de Frence R18...
The image was just a reference to the part I was looking for!
Yes, the reason i'm trying to find a used one is because of BMW's price for a new one... wow! Believe me I have searched EBay and other places ;-) I know when some owners customise their bikes they don't need this item, so though I...
Hi, I'm looking for the Chrome bracket with screw and BMW emblem that holds the seat on.
If anyone has made changes to their R18 Roctane and has one and wants to sell it I would be interested! It could be shipped to either the UK or Spain, whichever is easier relative to where you are located...
Thanks Matte,
I must say the lidloc system appealed to me but the more I think about this the more I wonder if it is as good an option as I had been hoping! It seems easy to install and to hook your helmet to, but i'm wondering if helmets hanging upside down on a bike are such a good thing... I...
Hi, I'm interested if anyone has fitted helmet locks to their R18, specifically for 2 helmets! I'm not sure a cable type would be a good idea as I can image damage from the cable possibly being an issue... I see lidlox do holders that allow helmets to be fitted at the end of the handlebars, not...
