Got it, thanks! I ask because I did try to use the OEM bolts but I wouldn’t know how to start tightening the upper one as the bolt is round and there is not a tiny gap between front of bolt and end of damper.

Adam, In the event you did end up installing the OEM hardware, were you still able to leave the steering damper alone? Or did you have to remove it?

I do own an R18b and an R18 (acquired in that order) and I can tell you that the riding style of each one is completely different. IMHO, the R18 is super easy to ride and handle in tight spots. The R18b is a tough one. In fact, I would strongly suggest -if possible, that you do test drive the TC...
