Update: mufflers are sold, windshield and rear seat cover remain.

UPDATE: Adding a chrome cover that comes with the stock seat.

Mufflers are ready to go and come with baffles you can remove!

Bump, only Memphis shades Demon screen and mufflers are left.

The issue returned after another week or so. Kind of irritating. Most I can say is use ethanol free fuel and just crank the bike twice instead of trying to drag the first time longer than necessary.

Update: Installing the DNA air filter with its own frame and removing the plastic air box & snorkels have improved the starting. Secondary cranks have dropped in necessity by 60% percent give or take and has definitely made a difference. I also tried one new fill-up in a different gas station...

The last two times my bike has started without having to hit the starter twice so the DNA filter is so far paying off.. it's the only thing I've changed!

Yeah I think next time I ride I'll throw it into rock mode and go for city street runs around the airport. Does BMW recognize this product or should I remove it when I go in for the first service?

Hey! I did the filter + frame install just last night and rode around a bit today. In roll mode (so far) there is a felt increase in power and smoothness, its faint so far but roll mode is a tame touring highway type mode anyway.

Good morning, I got a peculiar issue with my base r18 and wondered if others have this quirk. The bike has begun taking more time to crank over after 3k miles. When you start it up and let the system boot, prime fuel pump, etc and finally hit the ignition my bike will crank over various times...
