I'm going to attempt an install of the light bar, lights, brackets and all parts for the aux lights on my stock 2021 R18 with cruise, has anyone DYI'd it as of yet, outside of their dealer? I do not have this switch yet, the only part I don't have but was curious if anyone's done their own install.

If it helps anyone, here is a full parts list for the windshield and needed hardware and parts as an add on assembly to the R18. Low windshield, upper and lower mounting frames with aux. lighting in black.

Carlos, are you satisfied with results/sound/performance after your installation?

In Michigan, gets very winter like here too. Mines on a piece of commercial carpet, keeps a layer between the cold cement and tires. Definitely will wheel it out the garage and start it up once a month or so, therapy for me to hear it run and good to turn those tires too. I’ll ride a street lap...

very happy with the quality of the parts, feels solid, fitment is tight and all went together with no modifications needed.

final results, took my time, after a couple hours, done!

added the black bottom plate at this time too

using factory wire clip, new horn fits in perfect,

if you go with 12pt metric bolts, these 10 and 12mm ratchet end wrenches are needed, once all bars are in place time to snug down tight.

lower mounts, left and right installed, the big guard tubes will fit in snug and will settle in place with all loose until they’re lined up,,, used blue lock tight on bolts,

great time to replace the tiny sounding stock horn since it has to be removed anyway

jack padded cardboard, just to stabilize the weight

these are the lower bracket components, use a floor jack to ease the weight off the engine bolt, advise doing one side at a time, so there’s always one bolt connected,

DK engine guards, Here’s some pictures as it went together… this is the upper mount bracket, keep all bolts fitted loose until the other brackets are lining up
