Just an FYI for all. I'm using the servobuddy eliminator modules and although they keep a light from flashing on the dash there is still a fault code on the ECU. Runs fine but it will show up when scanned.
Just so I understand clearly (doing my valves this weekend).
The TDC mark shows when one side is top of compression. Set that side then rotate flywheel around and back to the marks and then the other side is at top of compression.
Correct?
When I did the first service myself the dealer sold me 75w-90 saying that’s what they used. I’m going by this week to get all the parts for the 10k service and will ask about using it for the transmission as well. $40 cdn per litre.
Looks like you've removed all 5 screws so you're good to go. You can see the two tabs on either side of the antennae poking through and thats all thats left holding it in. You just have to pull harder than you think.

They look...
One test ride for long distance determined I'd like more storage. R18 transcontinental rack and a knock off HD tour pack. Will get it painted to match later this summer and swap the latch and hinges for chrome.
Thanks for the replies.
It is the left so that makes a ton of sense.
I found the intake box parts diagram and it looks like there is a drain tub with a plug (shocker, on the left side lol). I’ll crawl under the bike tonight and see if I can find it. I’ll take pics and if it’s not overly a pain...
