MilwDave Is probly right but I think it depends on your goals. The Roctane comes with 21/18 wheels but if you want a wide rear tire you CAN'T fit a 240wide on a 5.5" wide rim. And the roctane is not spoked so no rebuild. It comes down to budget I think

    Fat tire (not the beer)

Wheel building is a skilled thing requiring some special tools. (NOT A plug) some experience is required to do it properly. I posted the Sources for the parts and am not familiar with anyone else making them. The R18 is a small market for custom parts and mostly from Germany. This being said...

Yes those are the prices. You don't necessarily have to ship your hubs over there. You can order the parts and have it built in the USA too. Where are you located? I did the build (lacing, trueing, sealing ) of the wheels myself. #shamelessPlug

    Bigger wheels

Almost nothing unless you go wider than a 200 rear tire. For the front you'll need an adapter for your fender.

    speedometer reset / recalibration

There must be a procedure to reset it. My BMW 335X can be reset if it gets out of whack

    speedometer reset / recalibration

No it stays at 50, while stationary. It doesn't cycle from 0-200 But from 50-6o'clock (off scale)

    speedometer reset / recalibration

I just got the exact same issue. During ignition on the needle cycles from 50 to 6 o'clock (with 200 being around 4 o'clock) and back to 50.

    Wheel size change

It's perfectly fine to run an 18" rear tire. It changes almost nothing if your tire size aspect ratio is also changed to keep the same tire diameter as the 16" with higher aspect ratio .
