Well, then, how about a black extra side cover? I'll mail the Manhattan Matte to the painter and have the black for the ride down. If not, just gonna be exposed for the five hour ride.

My recently purchased R18B is quite different than any other BMW I've owned from k75s through the five GS models with GTs in between. Even owned a chrome head. My first ride was rush hour St Louis traffic to Indiana. I'm NOT gonna need a new windshield OR seat like every other BMW I've owned...

Ive had the gamut of r bikes (gs), k bikes 1200 gt and k75s and several 650s. One r bike was a chromehead clc that i had a hanagans sidecar put on. Plan on doing that once again but this one will have less steering effort. That one steered like a truck.

As part of my sidecar build with my R18B, the installer has not seen this color before and wants to match the paint before I get down there for the install. I'll pay shipping to and from. Broken, scratched , dented, as long as it shows the actual color will be adequate. I'll ship it back to you...

Hi all, just purchased a Manhattan Matte R18B over the weekend. Couldn't ride it home yet because my wife won't drive in big city traffic especially the interstate system. Hey, at least it's paid for!
